Reality Therapy, founded in Dr. William Glasser’s Choice Theory and Control Theory, is an approach that believes we are always choosing our behaviors and that these choices are driven by five basic needs: survival, love and belonging, power, freedom, and fun. With me, you’ll learn to take responsibility for your choices and how they impact your life. I’ll help you recognize that your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are choices, even when it doesn’t feel like it. We’ll focus on what you can control right now and what you can do to meet your needs more effectively. This approach emphasizes personal accountability, empowerment, and building meaningful connections with others, all while fostering a strong sense of self-control.

An Integrative Approach. In our sessions, I’ll guide you in taking an honest look at what’s working in your life—and what isn’t. Together, we’ll identify your core strengths and leverage them to help you move past what’s holding you back. I believe in honoring your goals. I’ll support you in finding practical, achievable alternatives that bring you closer to the life you want. Together, we’ll empower you to make informed, meaningful changes by reconnecting you with your ability to choose, act, and grow.
